Superverse integrations: SUPER utility comparison

SuperVerse is integrating SUPER into games and connecting participating titles with its player community. Blackhole adds a liquidity connection: part of its protocol fees funds SUPER buybacks.

Gaming token
SUPER, an ERC-20 token.
Liquidity protocol
Blackhole, a decentralized exchange on Avalanche.
Buyback allocation
SuperVerse’s Blackhole DEX documentation specifies that smart contracts direct 10% of Blackhole protocol fees to SUPER buybacks.

Functions and participation compared

Functions and participation compared
Connection Function Token role and conditions
Gaming integrations In-game token utility and a connection to SuperVerse’s player community. The SUPER function depends on the participating title’s implementation. That project’s services follow its own terms.
Blackhole buybacks Purchases of SUPER funded through the protocol fee allocation. The mechanism purchases SUPER; it does not establish an individual holder’s reward entitlement.
Blackhole liquidity incentives Emissions allocated to liquidity pools according to pool votes. Liquidity providers receive BLACK emissions only for liquidity staked in protocol gauges.

Technical roles within Blackhole

Blackhole’s Genesis Pools support liquidity creation before a project’s token generation event. Projects provide their tokens, while community participants supply the other asset in the liquidity pair.

Blackhole supports concentrated-liquidity, classic UniV2-style and stablecoin automated market makers. The Algebra Integral integration supports plugins for customizing Blackhole’s automated market makers.

Participants can lock BLACK to become veBLACK voters and vote on the following epoch’s emission allocation. Blackhole distinguishes Singularity and Supermassive veNFTs; minting a Supermassive veNFT permanently removes BLACK from supply.

Named connections and their scope

SuperVerse’s Blackhole DEX documentation lists LayerZero, SwissBorg, Off the Grid, Mog, SPX6900 and Vertical AI in Blackhole’s integration network. That listing identifies connections around the exchange without establishing identical SUPER utility across every listed project.

Decision checklist

  • For in-game use, identify the specific SUPER function that the participating title provides.
  • For buybacks, compare the protocol fee mechanism separately from any personal reward entitlement.
  • For BLACK emissions, confirm that the liquidity is staked in a Blackhole protocol gauge.
  • For governance, distinguish BLACK locking from the permanent removal required to mint Supermassive veNFTs.
